We are an independent publishing house in Paris, on the lookout for emerging writers.
Taos is a small independent publishing house, a revival of a family venture than began in the early 20th C. in Paris. It offers its readers fiction and non-fiction books that are sharp and waspish inside and visually appealing on the outside. Our editorial policy focuses on a provocative kind of literature peppered with a touch of humour. We also publish books in English.
Why Taos?
The name refers to the publisher's family roots, Tunisia and New Mexico : Taos Amrouche, the Algerian-Tunisian female author, companion of Jean Giono, and the artistic and literary cities of Taos and Santa Fe, homes to D.H. Lawrence, Armistead Maupin, Cormac McCarthy and George R.R. Martin...
