We are an independent publishing house in Paris, on the lookout for emerging writers.
Editions Taos is a small independent publishing house in Paris, a revival of a family venture in the book business that began in the early 20th C. We maintain the tradition of being an "artisan/tradesperson of the book" while embracing contemporary sensibilities. We oVer our readers books that are "sharp and waspish" inside and visually appealing on the outside. Our editorial policy focuses on outspoken, provocative texts that challenge our moral certitudes, with a touch of irony. In addition, we also publish books in English.
Why Taos?
The name refers to the publisher's family roots, Tunisia and New Mexico : Taos Amrouche, the Algerian-Tunisian female author, companion of Jean Giono, and the artistic and literary cities of Taos and Santa Fe, homes to D.H. Lawrence, Armistead Maupin, Cormac McCarthy and George R.R. Martin...
